WARFORM Medical Disclaimer
IMPORTANT — READ BEFORE USING WARFORM
This app is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
WARFORM is a fitness tracking and information application. It is NOT a medical device, NOT a diagnostic tool, and NOT medical advice.
Nothing in this app — workouts, coaching briefings, nutrition targets, sleep analysis, PFT scores, recovery insights, medals, streaks, or AI-coach directives — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a prescription for any condition. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or other qualified health professional with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, before starting any exercise program, nutrition plan or physical activity.

1. Exercise Carries Inherent Risk
You acknowledge that physical exercise, including high-intensity training tracked by this app, carries inherent risk of serious injury or death.
Physical exercise, especially high-intensity resistance training, plyometrics and cardiovascular training tracked by this app, carries inherent risk including but not limited to:
- Musculoskeletal injury (strains, sprains, tears, fractures)
- Cardiovascular events (in extreme cases, cardiac arrest)
- Heat illness, dehydration, rhabdomyolysis
- Exacerbation of pre-existing conditions
You voluntarily assume all risk associated with your use of the app and any exercises you perform, whether following the app's suggestions or logging your own routines.
The app's gamification (streaks, XP, medals) is motivational only and never overrides your responsibility to stop exercising if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
2. Stop on Pain, Dizziness or Discomfort
Stop exercising immediately and seek medical attention if you experience:
- Chest pain, pressure or tightness
- Dizziness, light-headedness or faintness
- Severe shortness of breath
- Sharp or stabbing joint pain
- Nausea or signs of heat exhaustion
- Any symptom that feels wrong or alarming
Pushing through these signals can cause serious injury or death. Streak-freeze tokens, deload recommendations and rest-day notes exist precisely because recovery is part of the program — no in-app reward is worth training through pain.
3. Get Physician Clearance
Consult a physician before beginning any exercise program, especially if you:
- Are pregnant or postpartum
- Have a heart condition, high blood pressure or cholesterol
- Have diabetes, asthma or another chronic condition
- Have a history of joint, back, knee, shoulder or wrist injury
- Are recovering from surgery or illness
- Have been sedentary for an extended period
- Are taking prescription medications that affect heart rate, hydration or coordination
- Have any other medical condition or concern
The app's onboarding asks for your age to enforce the 18+ gate. It does not ask for, and cannot evaluate, your full medical history. A physician's clearance is your responsibility.
4. Your Limitation Preferences Are Respected, Not Medically Validated
WARFORM lets you set joint-protection toggles (protect_knees, protect_lower_back, protect_shoulders, protect_wrists) and a tactical objective (upper_body_armor, lower_body_power, full_body_conditioning) during onboarding or in Settings.
What these actually do: they run a Smart Swap engine at plan-load time — exercises tagged as loading a protected joint are swapped for a tag-scoped alternative from a curated alternatives table, and your objective biases program-generation ordering.
What these do NOT do:
- They are not a medical assessment or diagnosis.
- They are not validated by any medical professional or against your actual injury history.
- Joint-protection toggles are convenience features only and do not constitute medical clearance or prevent you from selecting exercises that load protected joints.
- The tactical objective biases ordering; it never gates content.
If you have a real injury or medical limitation, only a physician or physical therapist can tell you what you should not do. The toggle is a convenience, not a clearance.
5. Nutrition and Calorie Targets Are Estimates
Daily calorie, protein, carb, fat and water targets shown in the app are formula-based estimates derived from the profile data you enter (age, height, weight, gender, activity level). They are not medical or dietary advice and do not account for medical conditions, medications, pregnancy, eating-disorder history or any other individual factor. Consult a registered dietitian or physician before acting on any nutrition target, especially if you have a diagnosed condition or a history of disordered eating.
If you have a history of disordered eating, consult a healthcare professional before using any nutrition tracking feature.
Food barcode lookups (via Open Food Facts or the internal catalog) return manufacturer-declared values; accuracy is not guaranteed.
6. Health Connect Data Is Display-Only, Not Diagnosis
If you connect Google Health Connect, the app reads steps, heart rate, sleep stages and other wearable metrics to display trends. These are raw sensor readings, not diagnostic signals. A "low recovery" or "high max heart rate" reading in the app is not a medical finding.
Sleep-stage data (deep / REM / awake) shown on the Wearables screen is whatever your wearable/Health Connect reported — accuracy varies by device and is not medically validated.
7. The AI Coach Is Not a Coach
WARFORM contains no artificial intelligence, machine learning, or large language models. The "AI Coach" is a deterministic rule-based engine that applies fixed if/then logic to your own logged data. No user content is sent to external AI providers.
Coach briefings are generated by selecting pre-written phrases from a curated bank using deterministic rules. This is not AI-generated content.
Its "directives" (e.g. "RECOVERY DEFICIT DETECTED — reduce set volume") are pattern-matched suggestions from a hand-written phrase bank, not the judgment of a medical professional or a certified coach. It cannot see your full medical picture and does not know your injury history.
A micro-copy disclaimer is rendered by the client under every briefing:
"Consult a physician before changing your routine."
8. PFT Scores Are Self-Administered
Combat PFT events (push-ups, plank, 2-mile run) are self-administered fitness tests — you log your own scores and the app computes 0–100 event points from fixed curves. These are informational benchmarks, not military, professional or medical fitness assessments.
9. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of WARFORM does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client or coach-client relationship between you and KAAZIO or any contributor.
10. Emergencies
If you experience a medical emergency, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number immediately. Do not use the app to seek urgent help.
11. Questions
Medical questions should be directed to a qualified health professional. Product questions can be sent to support@warform.app.
