DMCA & Copyright Policy
1. Our position
WARFORM hosts user-generated content in limited, functional places — squad chat, direct messages, and profile avatars. We respect copyright law and will process valid notices under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (and equivalent frameworks such as the EU/UK DSA notice-and-action rules) promptly and fairly, for both sides: rights-holders and users wrongly accused.
2. Filing a takedown notice
Send to copyright@warform.app (or the agent address above) with:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- The URL or in-app location of the material (screenshot + squad/DM context helps);
- Your full name, postal address, email and phone;
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner;
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Incomplete notices get one request for the missing elements. We acknowledge valid notices within 5 business days and act "expeditiously" per the statute — typically removing or disabling access while we evaluate.
3. Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with: the removed material and its former location; your contact details; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; and consent to the jurisdiction of the court for your address (or our district if you are outside the US). We forward valid counter-notices to the original complainant and restore the content within 10–14 business days unless they file a court action.
4. Repeat infringers
Accounts subject to repeated valid takedowns are terminated under our repeat-infringer policy. We keep records of notices we act on.
5. Abuse of this process
Knowingly material misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may make the sender liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Don't use takedowns as a harassment tool; we document and may refuse abusive filers.
6. Other IP complaints
Trademark, impersonation and right-of-publicity issues: email support@warform.app with the same detail — handled by humans, same 5-business-day acknowledgement.
